Thermocoagulation, or Veinwave™ as it is commonly known, has
immediate and effective results, with patients able to undergo
treatments on their lunch breaks with no risk of bruising. The
microwaves penetrate the tissue to approximately 0.5mm – 2mm so
there are no adverse effects.
All treatments are recorded on DVD so patients can watch the

THE CONSULTATION PROCESS
A consultation is necessary before treatment to determine how
many treatments are required. Therapies are available for leg,
facial and nose veins as well as facial redness and blemishes.
Your initial consultation
will consist of an evaluation of your medical history, a clinical
examination, and a full visual assessment of your condition using
our polarised light facility.
Instantly, you will be able to see the benefits of this
procedure on our TV monitors. We will then discuss the nature of
any proposed treatment in detail, including the actual procedure,
recovery times and expected results. We will record your condition
on video as a pre-operative record, utilising the same techniques

In the case of minor veins and blemishes, some patients wish to
have their treatment ‘on the same day’ and where this is medically
acceptable, we are happy to accommodate you. In more difficult
cases you may wish to consider your decision before proceeding. You
may also require a second consultation which is free of charge.
