Customers must fulfill the following criteria to be considered
for weight loss surgery at Ramsay Health Care UK.
- You have a body mass index of 40kg/m² or more.
- You have a BMI of between 35kg/m² and 40kg/m² accompanied with
a disease that may be improved by the weight loss such as Diabetes
or High Blood Pressure.
- Be aged between 18 and 55
- You have not be able to reduce weight for more than a
year
- Have been receiving treatment in specialist obesity clinic at a
Hospital
- No problems with the endocrine system
- No drug dependancy
- Stable mental health
- Be ready to comply with a serious, medically supervised
program
- Be fit enough for the anaesthetic and surgery
You have had a full assessment by the specialist and other
healthcare professionals involved in your care.
